When it says that it closes at 7, that means the workers get off at 7. We don’t want to have to sit around after 9 hours of work and help people who can’t plan better. Also, if we work later than our scheduled hours we get yelled at. They will even make us leave early if we are over our scheduled hours.. so yeah we leave at 7 we don’t close then SORRY

So you know, since you dont… the $40 buck deal is a great deal for kids glasses, you get a complete set of glasses… they dont break easy by the way because these lenses are impact resistant polycarbonate lenses with no glare which at most places your paying another $40 dollars more for… and UV and scratch is included too….which by the way you pay more for at other locations as well…. people like you just dont like to beleive that you may actually get a good deal and is too good to be true so you beleive all the negative instead of trying it out and finding out yourself… at ALL other places you will leave paying alomst hundreds more but at Walmart they actually tell you the truth… the whole closing early thing is just bad customer service and bad management… obviously the store vision center manager has no idea the employees arent keeping the store open at posted hours….that should be handled within the store. Did you try letting them know???

I wish my husband could close early. He works in sales and they close at 6:00pm. I cannot tell you how many times he comes home well after 7:00 because inconsiderate people like you that wait until the last minute to show up and expect people to wait them keep him from coming home to his life on time. Get over yourself! It looks like you got off work on time to head onover there so you should be considerate of the people that work there. Why not make an appointment during your lunch break loser?

Screw the other comments on this page… I to found this page just by google and that sucks to close early.. I was in the same situation a little while ago.. I went to the same Wal-Mart 4 different times and everytime they closed early as much as an hour before they said and one time the Dr was not there so they wouldn’t let me order the glasses I could only look… People at the vision center just don’t care.. Now they have the 40 buck deal on glasses.. Big deal you will still be spending hundreds once its all said and done, because from what I have read on them, they break very easy and the warrenty totally sucks…. So good luck in the future with the lenses.. I won’t be going back to Wal-mart…

WALMART IS A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP IN MY OPINION AND I HAVE HAD SOME ISSUES BEFORE WITH THEM BUT HONESTLY GET OVER IT!!!! IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THERE SERVICES THERE IS A LIL’ THING CALLED A COMMENT LINE LEAVE A MESSAGE AND MOVE ON. WHILE YOU WERE TAKING THE TIME TO WRITE THIS CRAP YOU COULD HAVE BEEN SOME WHERE ELSE GETTING CONTACTS. sOME PEOPLE. I don’t think Jeff is a Walmart basher, but it is very frustrating to take time out of your busy day to go get a needed item before closing time only to find out that someone (most likely not the manager) closed early. Now you have to make arrangements to come back another time.

Big deal… They have lives and family’s as well. I bet you would not mind leaving work early sometimes… Are you one of those walmart bashers… I ask you, if you started walmart, would you remain a small one man store running out of a fruit stand, NO you would expand and do the same thing.
