I’m watching CNN for updates on the NYC steam explosion… and a commercial for a prescription drug for restless leg syndrome (RLS to those in the know) comes on.
So as they’re blowing through the list of unexpected side effects like an auctioneer on crank, I heard something odd:
may cause drowsiness… check
might cause you to feel faint or dizzy… check
if you drink alcohol or take medicine that makes you drowsy… check
if you experience an increase in gambling… um, what?
An increase in gambling?? That’s kind of awesome. We can’t cure cancer, but we can create a drug that makes you gamble.
Can you imagine what happens when you pop a few of those, knock back a few beers and head to the slots?
