Could anyone care less about the Grammy’s? Mariah Carey? U2? Kanye West?? Please. They’re all horrible.
U2? Ok, I can kind of see why they might have won a Grammy. They made one good album 20 years ago and they never won anything for it.
But Kanye West? Is this guy supposed to be good?? If so, then maybe I should have tried being a complete a-hole and having no talent for a living, cause apparently it pays pretty well.
Um… Nevermind. Anyway.
Even the “tribute” with Elvis Costello and Bruce Springsteen was horrible. How those two could do something that horrific is out of my grasp, but the Grammys managed to make them (and Bonnie Raitt, Allen Toussaint and Dr. John) sound like a garage band playing at a frat party for the first time.
It was probably because “The Edge” was in there too.
And thanks for that, E. That whole 6 note scale you played for a solo was a nice addition. I guess your delay pedal was out of batteries.
